Hello, I have a musical piece of 2,5sec at 48000Hz sampling rate.
I used mirtoolbox to calculate some measures such as mircentroid etc. I did
not specify number of bins for the computation of spectrum. For example I
used mircentroid(‘musical piece’).
So now i’d like to know how many bins and how many samples the algorithm
used?
The frame default is at 0.05sec with half overlapping. I calculated the
samples by this:
0.05sec * 48000 samples / sec = 2400 samples. Is that correct in my case?
But this is not a power of 2. In the manual at page 43 on "Resolusion
Specification" paragraph, refers that the process defines by default a zero
padding process. According to this i'll have 4096 samples?
