Why don't you introduce in your wrapper some lines that would create a safe
directory, something like INSTALLDIR with a path without spaces, export it,
install and write it to .paths in Mac?. I have experienced problems with
spaces too, for example using ~/Google Drive folder, where other programs
apart from MIRA didn't work. So, even if you eventually solve the case for
MIRA, others will come.
