Crocodile survey
For volunteers
Roles
1 Assist field researcher during community surveys on crocodile conflict,
occurrence and perceptions.
2 Take notes as instructed during surveys.
Photo documentation.
3 Take GPS coordinates (volunteer will be trained in this prior to surveys)
4 Transportation to the survey locations.
Requirements
1 Fluency in Gujarati.
2 Driver’s license and own 2-wheeler (fuel expense will be covered by us)
3 Patient enough to work long hours in field conditions, mainly
communicating with local community members residing in or near crocodile
habitats.
Working hours
Morning 08:00hrs. to 16:00hrs. with breaks for lunch and refreshments.
We will cover
1 Fuel expense
2 Food expense
3 Stay (if needed)
