Thanks and regards Sagarika A Rocha India is part of a global family of A Rocha projects dedicated to conserving nature and transforming communities. A Rocha India is actively in involved in scientific research, environmental education and community-development projects. Our study area is Bannerghatta National Park (Bangalore, Karnataka). At present the project which we are looking at volunteers for is the Rural Education program. We are looking at the improvement and welfare of various schools located in the 117 settlements around Bannerghatta National Park. We are looking at working in collaboration to strengthen the rural education system through environmental education and awareness in villages abutting Bannerghatta National Park. These communities are severe victims to the depredation caused by elephants. We are looking at energetic volunteers with some experience with the educational system and a working knowledge of Kannada. A Rocha India, is open to volunteers and interns who would like to join hands and work in collaboration with our existing projects and/or have the independence to establish a new working model within the framework of our principles and objectives. If interested please send us your C.V to sagarika.phalke@xxxxxxxxx along with your working duration (days/months/years), if you choose to take up a full time working profile as an *intern or volunteer* in partnership with A Rocha India. -- Young Ecologists Talk and Interact (YETI) http://www.meetyeti.in/ For you or your friend to subscribe or unsubscribe please visit //www.freelists.org/list/meetyeti Only mails to be broadcast to all 2000 members are to be sent to the freelist email.
