I have been sent to various sites that give instructions, which seem simple, but I am not having any success. I have managed to save email folders onto a flash drive and even copy to the store folder, but when I go to OE, they do not appear. When I use the import feature, I get a screen telling me no messages can be found in that folder or another application is running that has the required files open. I would appreciate any help. Please keep it simple--I do not know much technical stuff. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 2 Date: Sat, 2 Apr 2005 07:52:56 -0500 From: "journeyone" <journeyone@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Enough Is Enough! It sure is ..!!! The SPAM that you get in your INBOX has nothing to do with spyware and adware that infect your system. You may want to tell your friends to email you in a different email account and use that account only for friends and family. Definitely separate business from pleasure. When you go to groups like this, some of these spammers joined groups to harvest email addresses which they would then use to add to their SPAM database. Also, when you join public newsgroups, Yahoogroups, Googlegroups, and other forums, your email address can become public. There are programs called spiders that go out to groups and websites that gather legit email addresses. If it becomes unbearable with all the spam mail you are getting, you might want to create a different account just for this group and filter the emails that you get that is not coming from this group to the trash or a separate folder. Leave your old email account alone as a decoy. Let it fill up so anyone trying to email you in that account will get a return email. Meanwhile, when you are registering for website or email, try to clean it up enough so that the verification email can get into your INBOX. Once you get them, just allow your email account to fill up again. You can also try using SPAMIHILATOR. Dennis Jenkins <maillist_1@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Have you ran the free microsoft antispyware?
