Dear Club ITers,
I look forward to seeing as many returning Club IT members as possible. This
should be a great semester with PC Tune Ups and other service learning
opportunities (Op Hope Vista, PC Tune Ups, Solana Center, etc) along with
getting our hands 'dirty' with Raspberry PIs.
Unfortunately, Lena had to step down from being the club president for personal
reasons, so that means that we will need to elect a new president as well as a
new Treasurer since Mark Gomez has completed his degree - Congrats Mark!
So there are positions for persons to get leadership in that look great on
resumes and transfer letters.
We will meet on Wednesday's 4:00-5:30PM in OC 4803B as usual.
Rough Agenda
1) Fill out / renew petition for active club Spring 2017
2) Elect officers - President, Vice President if Brandon decides to run for
President, and Treasurer. Existing positions being filled ICC Rep (Aaron),
Secretary (Adrian). Perhaps we elect a new Social Media/Public Affairs officer?
3) Figure out what Raspberry PI projects we want to do. Recommend reviewing
the following site for projects so that we can pick out 1 or 2 projects -
https://www.raspberrypi.org/resources/make/
See everyone tomorrow.
