Hi Donna,

I don't yet have a Mac, but am seriously considering making the switch...can you send me that cheat sheet?

Thanks,

Russell

Hi Cheryl,

I agree about the more resources the better. And I have made good use of
the manual for VO. There are just places that a little Mac nfo would be a
good addition in my opinion.

As to the cheat Sheet, what my message said is that I have compiled one for quick reference. I have found it to be very helpful to have a hard copy of
this sitting next to the computer while working, so have offered to share
with any other new user who would like a copy.
Best,
Donna

Actually, I've found voiceover getting started to be invaluable and
even
have the hardcopy version of the book that I ordered from Apple.
Remember
that it's primary emphasis is to explain voiceover; it's not a Mac
tutorial per se. I don't think it's an "either/or" scenario with
using different resources. I think that the more resources are
available the more people can choose according to their learning
styles or use each resource for whatever help it gives them.
Also, I don't think this is the "cheatsheet";
I'm thinking maybe the cheatsheet David is referring to is the
VoiceOver
Commands chart. But I only see this available in pdf and I don't see
any
indication that this is available in braille from Apple; maybe I'm just
missing it. I do see the information about where to call to order
Voiceover Getting Started in braille. Btw the direct link to find all
these downloads and the info for getting the Getting Started manual in
embossed braille is:
