[macvoiceover] trouble editing track with amadeus Pro

I wonder, using amadeus Pro, is it possible to isolate the left or right
channels of a stereo audio file and bring each channel in to the center and
edit each seperately? I consulted both the amadeus Pro manual and the help
over at:
www.icanworkthisthing.com
and got nowhere. Well, not much of anywhere. anyone know how to do this?
