I don't do this often and I'm not disparaging JaWS or windows here but if you to:

jaws used to be able to activate the combo boxes on the front page. Actually, we are told that this is a windows thing anyway, but if you click the mouse over them, jaws can then get them to work. 

on the other hand, they work with no problems using vo.
