That's caused by the flash software that is used on the pages.

People have previously remarked on the list that the newer version of Flash
available from adobe.com will help this a little bit. I haven't tried this yet,
though.

Subject: [macvoiceover] safari very sluggish on sites with snow leopard

Hi all, I notice if I go to two sites, prisonplanet.tv, and pge.com, that
safari is so sluggish, that it goes in to busy mode, and with snow leopard, I
have to turn voice over off, then back on again to navigate both sites,
especially on the movies link of prisonplanet.tv, which is extremely flash
laden, In both instances, I have to log in with my user name and pass code, but
thought I'd try the p g and e site tonight on the mac, and wonder if anybody
else is having continual busy problems with sites with safari and snow leopard?
I may have to put in a file report, and thanks in advance.
