Hi. well i do it a couple of ways. If I want to add the loop to an existing project, I drag it into an empty scroll... basically the loop is the only track, send it to itunes, open up the project I want to use the loop in and put the loop in using the media browser. once u drag the loop into the scroll section you cut. and then u can go to what ever part of the song u want and paste the loop. I hope that made some kind of sense. lol

Then send your projecct to iTunes and then open it in Amadeus Pro. You mite want to finish your project in Amadeus Pro. Editing does not go well in GarageBand at this time.
