Hi. well i do it a couple of ways. If I want to add the loop to an existing project, I drag it into an empty scroll... basically the loop is the only track, send it to itunes, open up the project I want to use the loop in and put the loop in using the media browser. once u drag the loop into the scroll section you cut. and then u can go to what ever part of the song u want and paste the loop. I hope that made some kind of sense. lol

How do you know where you're cutting and pasting it?

Hello,

I did not see the part about using apple loops in the garageband tutorials.
I looked through them all. Yes, and I have found if I just move a single
loop into the scroll section... for example I can just cut and paste it to
be as long as I require.

If it is a jingle that you want to use, read the guide as Ginny said
and after you have moved it in to the project, do, this first. Then
send your projecct to iTunes and then open it in Amadeus Pro. You
mite want to finish your project in Amadeus Pro. Editing does not go
well in GarageBand at this time.

Read Keith's guide on loops in garage band. You can actually drag
and drop the loop into your song...only problem is that you can't
lengthen the loop, so you only get the couple of measures that are
already there.
