Apple has not said that it would be Intel only other have reported that it will be but we must await further word. It is safe to assume that at some point it will be Intel only however.

Would I be correct in assuming that Snow Leopard will be for Intel- Macs, only? I surmise this, based on the comments on the site, regarding Grand Central, and it's ability to take full-advantage of multi-core systems. If this, indeed, is the case, then I need to get my rear in gear and get the bread together to get a new system!

Personally, I think new features are great, especially if they're not just bells & whistles, but I think, particularly where access technology is concerned, performance trumps new features anytime!

Take care!

I have a ham logging program written in Coco which is very accessible and the guy who wrote it did not even know it.

Yes Cocoa will be much more integrated into the whole OS and applications. This is good because making Cocoa application accessible is much simpler. in fact much accessibility is obtained for "free" with no extra effort required at all.

You said something earlier about CoCo being more affluent in the new OS. How is that going to make things better?

Snow Leopard is a release which will focus on performance issues rather than new features. So on the VoiceOver side I would expect to see improvements in voices, braille tables and so on as opposed to lot of new bells and whistles.

I would note that in the accessibility area Snow Leapord will offer improvements by converting over the remaining OS features to coca interface system. They are much ore accessibility friendly.
