[macvoiceover] how can I tell if Mail is having trouble connecting?

HI,

Subject line says it all.  IF Mail is having issues connecting to my comcast 
server, how can I tell?  There seem to be no alerts such as I'd get in Windows 
Mail when there are connection issues.  Thanks.
