with these tutorials.

Subject: [Mac-for-the-blind] Looks Like Amadeus Pro Could Use Some Love
Hello, all. One of the programs I used a lot when I was a regular Mac user a
few years back was Amadeus Pro. It had some quirks, but I managed to work
around them. I still remember some really cool podcasts from Dane on how to
digitize vinyl to your computer using Amadeus Pro. In playing with it today,
it looks like there are more issues than I remember. The big one I find is
difficulty moving between tracks without VoiceOver wanting to rename the
track I am on. I used to press escape to get out of that edit field. Today,
it doesn’t look as though un-interacting, pressing escape, or anything else
works reliably. Are there tricks I need to know about, or have we moved on to
other audio programs? I use Reaper in Windows and I know it is available on
the Mac, but I wanted to add another program to my audio editing arsenal just
for some variety. I’ll be interested in all the thoughts expressed here. Just
for the sake of completeness, I edit spoken word audio rather than music.
