Hello all, I was curious regarding my shut down problem with my mac
mini, so I tried calling apple care, because I was interested to find
out if I was registered, as far as my mac was concerned, because I had
trouble with that on Saturday, and I couldn't type in the numbers, so a
friend that was helping me out, helped me skip the personal information
in the registration process, and it let me continue to the end, but
now, that I look back, I wonder if I may have been typing function
keys, but both of us, on Saturday, never thought of that, but I wanted
to find out if my mac was registered, and I guess it is, but I'm still
not sure, and I wonder if there's a way to go back, and fill in the
personal information such as name, and address? I am enrolled in
apple1 care, but when I told the apple representative of the problems I
was having, he said I should go to an apple store, and have an apple
technition show me how to operate my mac, and I pointed out that the
sales people in the store, knew nothing about voice over, and neither
did this person from his home, apparently, in fact, he asked for my
computer cereal number, and when I said I was blind, and couldn't see
it, he just said that my computer was right in front of me, and I could
look at the cereal number, so not only did I not find out what I wanted
to know, the representative was condescending to me as far as I was
concerned, and I wanted to find out if there was something to correct
the shut down problem, that I'm having, so, maybe this has been covered
before, but has anybody else had either positive or negative
experiences with the apple care representatives? Thanks in advance.

Marty
