[macvoiceover] cannot get firevox to work:

Hi All,
I've downloaded the firevox etention, the java embedding plug in,
followed the instructions for installing the java embedding plug in,
followed the instructions for installing the firevox extentions. I
get a firefox screen that says ad ons and that's all I ge and if I
restart firefox, I'm back to a window I cannot read.
Can someone please help?
