For me, it wasn’t the fact that there are new features, but the VoiceOver
experience has been greatly improved. Several things have been cleaned up.
Not to mention, the addition of Siri to the Mac is going to be extremely useful
to me.

I don't get the upgrade fever that seems all too common.
Most times there are few or no features in a new version that appeal or I
would use.
That is how Idecide, I review my needs and uses and decide strictly on that
alone.
Too much in a new versions seems fluff and glitter of little practical value
and only takes up storagee and memory resources needlessly as bloatware.
I would still be using snow leopard if I could. My hd went south on my
previous machine. I sadly learned apple has a con't go back to a previous
version control tactic when getting my new machine last year, it really
ticked me off actually.
The current os has a restriction on what part of the os is accesable in
terminal, I do much in terminal that requires adding andmodifying files in
the os. This can be turned off, but why bother?
So I have the os that was on the new machine 10.10, I didn't put on the
current version and have no interest in the just released one at all.

I never upgraded to El Capitan. I'm still on Yosemite. Can you upgrade and
skip an entire version? And should I?

Hi folks,
I am sure that some of you will be downloading Sierra in the coming
weeks. Please lets talk about what you like about it and what you don't
like as a Voiceover user and also how you like Sierra compared to El
Capitan. You can really be a big help to all of us if you will take a
little time to tell us what you are experiencing.
Thanks. Keith Reedy
