Thanks for the breakdown David. I’ve done the synch up between devices,
jockeying the start around, everything is fine until we have to pause for
something. I was hoping for automatically synchronized playback. I want my
machine overlords to lull me into unawareness of their rise by making things
really easy for me.
Cheers,
Ian

Yes and no, it depends.
If you are paying for the lowest cost NetFlix, then no. The lowest cost
NetFlix only allows the use of one screen at a time. In this case, you cannot
view the movie on both the TV (no audio description) and the iOS device
(audio description) at the same time.
If you have the next level of NetFlix, you can play the show on two screens
at the same time. Now, just set one with audio description, and the other
without it. The only trick is to start both at the same time (not that
difficult).

I’ve searched for this but I’m not finding an answer, the description for
the last couple Netflix IOS updates lists the abilityto watch the same movie
on different devices. Does anyone know if this means you can watch a
synchronized version at the sae time, and ifyes can you have audio
description enabled on one device and not the other? My wife and son don’t
mind having the audio description on when we watch movies, but it’s neat
when we got to the theatre and they’re having the visual experience while
I’ve got the description.
