Hmmm, tried that, but the key in the FN position does something else, different
depending on what app and function I'm in. The keyboard is made for an iPad, so
I assume it has the right layout. Command option and control are where they are
supposed to be, but the bottom left corner is the odd key. Other than that I'm
in pretty good shape. I figure I'm at about 80% work efficiency without my Mac.
Next step is to try Pages and Numbers on my phone. I know it won't be 100%, but
I need to have access to my work spreadsheets and basic documents if I'm ever
stuck like this again.

Maybe you can try double pressing the FN key like on the Mac?

Still happily typing away on my wife's keyboard connected to my iPhone. One
question though, as the on screen keyboard disappears when I turn on the
external keyboard, the dictae key goes away with it. I tried the 2 finger
double tap to activate, nope. Is there a way to activate dictation from the
keyboard?
