Hi, all.
Recently, the convention shifted back to only having *ONE* space after a
period, instead of two. This means that I’m going back into old documents and
deleting two-space blanks, and replacing them one space after the end of a
sentence.
I’m doing this primarily with TextEdit on my MacBook Air, running the latest
Bis Sur build. I am able to use Find (Command F) just fine, searching for the
string (Period space space). However, I cannot seem to enter, or even find, the
“replace with,” box. So, I can’t find the place to enter in the string, (Period
space).
I have a similar problem when trying to convert a text document to an HTML
document, attempting to replace the double-return of a paragraph signifier with
the HTML code for paragraph breaks. I simply can’t seem to find the “replace
with,” box.
Can anyone give me any tips about this?
Thanks very much.
