Actually I hope I've figured it out. I think that once I press offline (some
of these are not buttons but you can treat them like buttons) it takes a while
for everything to load and be accessible for going to the cloud. eventually,
where I had only see a drag-and-drop upload I found a choice to select songs
and I could upload files or folders. Right now that is working so I hope I will
be able to do it consistently in the future.

your identifier and you can choose to automatically import music using
preferences. But I find nothing about preferences in the window itself and
preferences in the fmenus using vo-m is dimmed.
