[macvoiceover] Update on my issues saving a card from contacts

Previously I mentioned having trouble saving a V-card from Contacts. First it
told me my file name was too long, and then that I didn’t have permission to
write to the destination.
I found I could save to the main documents folder just fine, so thinking it was
an issue with one particular folder I made a new one. Same thing though, I
can’t save to that destination either, but I can still save to the documents
folder in general.
Anyone have any clue why this might be happening?
