that worked, when you schedule to send a message later a new mailbox is
produced titled 'send later' which of course contains the scheduled messages,
looks like I have a couple more to send but I am sure I can delete them from
that mailbox.
Bottom line, yes, the mac Mail will do this.

Trying this on Mac, there is supposed to be a pop up menu next to the send
button in the mail app. I’ve always used the send keyboard shortcut, now I’m
trying to find the send button. There is something that says send in the tool
bar, but Voiceover isn’t finding me a pop up menu and the context menu

When composing a message in iOS, on your iPhone, after you create your
message, instead of double tapping on the send button, double tap, and hold
the send button on the second tap, and you will get a Choice to send later.
Tap on that, then tap on the date and choose the date you want, then choose
done. Then click on the time, swipe over to that time pick up the box and
set the time you want to, and click done. Once you do this, you will have a
folder called send later, and your message will be placed in that folder.
