Got me curious, I’m not finding much on the app store. Something called Privus
claims to use inertial navigation, and Apple themselves have a patent for the
next generation.
Cheers,

Hi, folks. I’ve used a few GPS navigation programs for augmented mobility,
but I thought there was one that tracked your steps and used inertial
guidance in addition to GPS for better point-to-point navigation. I cannot
find it nor remember the name of it. I thought it was Ariadne, but while
that’s a good app, it doesn’t do what I’m seeking. TomTom, the other one I
seem to remem er being used by a lot of VoiceOver users, is more about
automobile traffic than walking GPS. Can anyone help me remember the app I’m
talking about, that keeps track of your steps and direction to help give
route guidance?
Thanks.
