I think there is a way to do this but I just can’t quite figure it out.
Here’s what I’m hoping to be able to do on IPhone:
Hear Voiceover over my Blue Tooth headset.
Send my music audio to an auxiliary cable attached by the standard adapter
dongle.
I need to be able to connect my phone to a mixer and play music from it without
everyone on the other end being able to hear Voiceover talking while I control
my phone.
In the accessibility Voiceover Audio settings there are options for send to
HDMI, which references externally connected media devices, does an auxiliary
cable attached by dongle count as an external media device? There are also the
speech channel settings, can I use those to send Voiceover to my Blue Tooth
headset while something else is connected via the Lightning port?
Thanks much for any wisdom,
Ian
