[macvoiceover] Safari unusable, help!

OK, so I love Lion, but not the way it handles safari.  I have no way of 
accessing many sites, it's just constantly busy.  Turning VO off, pressing 
command+R, and reloading doesn't seem to resolve this as it did with SL.  I 
can't seem to get VO back on again, when I do, pages are still busy, causing my 
whole system to crash on me as everything's busy!  What a mess! Is there a work 
around?  If not, can I role back to the snow kid?
