Ok, did some more poking around on this, and found an export setting in Quick
Time for audio only. It turned my .mov into an Apple Lossless track., which of
course played in iTunes not problem. I tried using iTunes to convert it to an
MP3, which it did, but after the deedle that told me the action was complete,
the file was nowhere to be found. Any thoughts on where it might have ended up?
A spotlight search for the file name only gave me the original file.

Cheers,

Ian
