My only suggestion would be to redownload the book. Maybe there was a glitch in the download?

Subject: [macvoiceover] Problems with voice dream reader?

HI.

i’m having some issues with voice dream reader.

I am running a 6 s with the latest iOS update.

Sometimes when I launch voice dream reader, I get a message saying that iCloud isn’t available. Not sure if this is a connection issue. Nothing will play after dismissing the message, until I reboot my phone.

The more annoying problem though, is this.
I have an audio book which has 4 parts to it. Each part is about 4 hours long. I’m fine if I play the file straight through, but about an hour before a part of the book is about to end, , If I try to rewind or fast forward I end up at odd places in the book. It’s almost like at certain parts of the file, the rewind and fast forward act like I’m skipping by an hour or something. If I skip forward too far, I end up at the next part of the book. It also doesn’t tend to keep my place when it’s at , the particular spot where i’m having problems. I really love this app, but have had to resort to using downcast, as if the book is paused at problem spots, it jumps back or forward to the next part, and it’s impossible to rewind or forward to find where I was up to. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues with audio books, before I write to the developer.

thanks
Maria
