Looking at the description for the Sennheiser Memory Mic, looks like is
specifically for video production, more like a digital audio recorder that
automatically synchs up to your video when you are done recording. I’m not
finding anything that says you can use it live. There is a similar product
I’ve been tyring to find out more about, it’s called the InstaMic. Same
idea, lower price point. I’m a little wary of the proprietary apps you need
to use with both of these, any experience with the Sennheiser app?
There are also some solutions out there that don’t use BlueTooth, like a
wireless pack and reciever that plugs into your phone or computer.
Depending on how important it is for it to be BlueTooth rather than just
wireless that might be an option.
Just going through the info on the InstaMic page again, it does say it does
on board recording like the Sennheiser as well as acting as a straight
BlueTooth mic. Sending them a message now to see if they have any
experience with Voiceover users.
