OK, again, I dono what on earth the latest version for Tiger is of ITunes, but I must have it, as my system tells me all updates are current, which does led me on an o t note: yes, David, I do have Safari 3, I updated to it the other day. was that a major no no?

Can I get the other one back?

Anyway, getting back to my question at hand, and again, this isn't a problem really per sey, it's just really! annoying.

I was listenning in my itunes library earlier. I wanted to hear a Joe Diffie track

So, I put Joe D in the search box.

All results come up, however all a sudden when I vo right arrowed to the list, then interafcted with it, I heard blank blank blank as I go down through it with vo down. If I read the current line with vo l, I just get a ding. the only two ways I have gotten around this is to interact with the songs list, then once I do that, vo right arrow one time, which puts me into the name heading. then, and only then if I vo down will it work. Only problem then is, I'm in a specific heading, so that is all I'll hear on the names, I won't hear any a the other stuff. I double checked under command j, to see if some heading had gotten enabled that would read but it did no good. I looked in the view menu, and it says show browser, not hide browser, Need to turn that on, just haven't but that and the mini store are the only two things enabled in the view menu. as for album list, text list, album flow, etc. I have it on the default which is text list. Yeah, before yu tell me, yeah yeah yeah I know, I don't have to interact with that song list but if I don't, then I can't vo down arrow and hear what I'm landing on. now if I just down arrow forget vo down arrow, then, it does read, yes, but again, we hear all the headers then fine, but still it says blank at the beginning, and at the end. so, for instance here is an example a what I may hear: Blank Pickup Man Artist Joe Diffie, Album Greatest Hits, Genre Country, rating 0 stars, blank. I tried this both on my remote library and on my local music library. Again, it's not really a big deal, I can get used to always first hearing blank, but it's just extremely annoying being it didn't do this until earlier tonight. no, I have not changed a thing that I know a. I swear.

can someone help me out? Also, for 16000 tracks, should that really take 5 minutes or so to load all that with the mac connecting to the share library out here? I know that is a lotta music, but still, should it take that long?

Chris.
