In my Macbook pro, the button where you do the touch id is also the
power button. Unfortunately, there is no way to get the startup sound
back, I wish for that as well.

Greetings,
I just received my MacBook Pro, and on the whole, I am quite satisfied. I was
able to use Migration Assistant to copy everything over. I did not get the
model with the toucher, so I still have the function keys. I’m actually
enjoying the shorter travel on the keyboard.
There are, however, some observations I would like to make and, perhaps
some of you might have some answers to a question I have.
I have noticed that there is no longer an on/off switch, so I am not
sure how to reboot, should the need arise. It appears that the former eject
key might reboot, in fact I think I was able to perform a reboot using it.
However, I did not get the nice chord sound. Is there a way to put it back?
Any answers to this would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
