I only have 4GB of RAM, it would be better perhaps if I had 8GB . This is a recommendation as Yo uses a larger footprint than Mavericks. However, the keyboard response is fine, no slower than Mavericks, and I did a Recovery partition disc utility permissions verification. Sometimes I feel frustrated with the regularity of updates but after going through the procedure I am pleased with the small but useful improvements. My machine, iMac, is performing well for a 2008 model. Generally I think it is performing more quickly . I think if my computer when really slow and laggy when navigating or reading, that would totally drive me nuts. Everything else I see as minor annoyances.
