[macvoiceover] Large PDFs crash Preview

Good evening,
I tried to load a couple of large PDFs in preview (over 400 pages) and
after sitting busy for a while Preview crashed.
Any thoughts on what may be causing Preview to crash? Is there another
VoiceOver accessible PDF reading option?
