I believe the View menu (Command M to menu bar, then either arrow right to View
or just type V) has the “as list,” check box in it. Alternatively, does Command
3 work, as it does in Finder, to change to a list view?

I’m in monterey, my not-favorite system of Mac. All I want to do is see
things in a list, not a GRID, and I don’t want to be in one or all of my
playlists. I just want the nice columns that say genre, artists, albums, from
which you can select what you want and then go into a list from which you can
choose to play. Then I want to sit back and listen. How do I do this? It used
to be a simple task!!!
