Macbook cables are notorious for failing at the connection between the cable
and the plug that goes into the computer. If you have some way to tell if the
indicator light on the plug itself is lighting up, that’s how you can tell if
power is flowing. If not, you’ll need to fork over the bucks for a new cable.
If you can tell if the indicator light is on, it should be orange if it’s
charging, green if you computer is charged, and you’re still not getting ar
response from your Mac, You’ll need to get some diagnostic work done in store.

If you can't find a bad connection I would take the charger and laptop to the

Sent from my iPad hello list. I wanted to ask has anybody had this problem
with their Mac. Our use the charger on it, and it's not rebooting and all.
I've charged overnight, and I've also taken it to the Apple Store. It's
non-responsive. They told me at the Apple store, that it would work on the
charger.>
