[macvoiceover] Has anybody noticed differences in their computer's name?

I think I trace this back to the recent Xcode update that came through Software
Update. Brltty no longer works for me in terminal, which I realize isn't a
voiceover issue. But my computer, while still called byfaithalone, now connects
as byfaithalone-2.local instead of byfaithalone.local. Sharing shows that the
name hasn't changed but that the connect to my computer now requires the -2.
Has anybody else experienced any such differences? I'll take this to a
different list if I need to discuss it further, but would like to know if any
other voiceover users have had something like this happen or if it is something
that just happened with my setup.
