HI Cheryl,

I finally got around to doing this. I followed the instructions below and still no joy from firefox/vox. Terminal did not report any errors but all I get is a dim scroll bar. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I did the following to install the .xpi file.

From terminal:

open -a /Applications/Firefox.app clc.xpi
(Actually the filename is longer but you get the idea).
when firefox opened (vo announces this fine) I hit enter. this apparently installed the .xpi as an add-on.

then I quit firefox and restarted it twice; the second time it talked. Voice isn't great but it talks.

Now on to the tutorial.
