For everyone that is having the get info problem here is a fix. Go to you home library, go to preferences, go to com.apple.voiceover and highlight all instances of Voice Over, press the delete key. Next turn VO off and press your power button until the machine has powered off. This will remove VO and your settings. When the machine powers up VO will sometimes speak if not just turn it on again. After that you should be OK, just redo your settings. This will work for most users. Also the power button can be used as much as you want to turn power off and on according to a Apple rep. If VO is working just hold it down briefly until you get the dialog. This is best used on a notebook. Let me know if this works for you. This will not hurt your system or destroy Voice Over in any way.
