Thanks John, it might have something to do wit the nature of the link, it’s not
giving me the option to download, just opening the csv in the browser. My wife
watched the screen for me, and apparently the option to download flashed up and
then disappeared, then the file opened.
I did find a work around using Safari on iPhone, the csv opened in the browser
just the same, but the share menu let me zap it to my computer using Air Drop.
The site developers know they’re being inelegant with their design, they say
they’re working on it.
