In a computer-to-computer network, do you have to know the login information from the computer to which you are accessing in the network? Is it that much different from a wireless network? I haven't had any experience with a computer-to-computer network, and I have a friend who lives out in a remote community, but she and her husband don't have wireless capability, except via the AT&T Connect Card on her laptop. She has a desktop computer, but no router. She connects to a cable modem. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
