open system preferences and uncheck "restore windows when quitting and
reopening apps". then, open safari, set your ome page, close it and reopen it
and you should be good to go.

Hi All,

I recently logged onto a radio station web site in London just to listen to
it. I closed down Safari when I had finished listening and turned off my
MAC. Today when I re-entered Safari the station started playing again and
even if I go to a different web page the radio player keeps playing in the
background. I have made several attempts to reset the hompage in preferences
and General but still this player keeps going. Is there somewhere else I
need to look in order to stop this. I am using Lion.

Many thanks for any help,

Paul.
