Hello Suzanne,
Rumors are rampant regarding BB and its accessibility. I do know that the most
recent versions of the program have improved accessibility, but participating
in discussion threads (often required) is still difficult, no matter what
screen reader one uses.
If I learn anything new, I will communicate it to you. I lost a semester of
graduate level studies at an American university because of this issue.
I do have a lot of information but won't share it with the list since it goes
beyond the scope of VO and the Mac. However, I can put you in touch with the
BB accessibility team (great people) if you wish.
