Bill,
If you can afford a MB Pro that would be great.
The new MAC book has no Firewire port and I use Firewire a lot.
We have a number of iMacs and a MacBook.
2 GIG of ram should be fine for most things, But, I think that a 720 RPM
drive really makes a differents.
