Ian,
I found the same thing. It is better than loosing content.

Ian,
The problem here is and I have noticed the same thing that the ducking is
very slow. So slow that at times you loose some of the content. The
ducking speed if you will does not seem to adjust. The only answer is to
leave ducking off if you don’t want ducking. It is a judgment call and also
a pain in the fanny, grin smile.

This seems to only be happening with Blue Tooth headphones, Aftershockz
Aeropex is what I’m using currently, when I lock my phone with Voiceover on
and audio playing, the audio level drops a few moments after the lock. If I
have Voiceover off, the audio stays up. If I turn the headphones on while
audio is playing, the audio kicks into the headphones no problem and the
volume stays up. I disabled audio ducking and the problem went away, but
now I don’t get the benefits of the feature. It’s not the end of the world
to have audio ducking disabled, but I’m wondering what may be up. Any
thoughts?
