Thanks, that was helpful and it worked. I appreciate it. -----Original Message----- From: macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cheryl Ann Homiak Sent: Thursday, September 01, 2011 12:25 PM To: macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [macvoiceover] Re: App Store issue You don't use the install button. You select the updates radio button in your toolbar, and then the update button in the html content, either the update all one or the one for that particular app. Then it just installs and you can see progress there on the page but you have to look for it; if it's quick you may not even see it; you have to just go in and check o see if he app is the updated version on your computer. Also I discovered last night when I was ready to accuse the update of not working that, even though I was running Mac OS X on an external drive, the update actually went to my hard drive Mac installation and I had to copy and paste it to my external drive. But today when I went to do an update it did automatically select the external drive I was using. But you will know the update is running or has done because the message changes to no updates available and all update and install buttons become dimmed. I almost paniced before I found the updates radio button in my toolbar. -- Cheryl May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
