Thanks Keith, that’s what I’ve done when I can record locally, 2 iPhones with
lav mics, mix the tracks in GB after. This is for remote interviews, the
recordings Zoom does are ok, but they are an accurate representation of what
you’re hearing, transmission glotches and bad Internet and all. I know that on
some interview shows they have the subject record separately and send the
recording to be mixed, but I have to account for church members who can only do
tech up to a point, clicking the link in Zoom is easy enough.
Riverside is supposed to be one click for the interviewee, and the app/service
takes care of all te capture and mixing. The non-voiceover reviews say it works
ok, not as great as the advertising says, but ok.

a 1 on 1 I would just use gb and put each voice on separate tracks.
