Hi, folks.
I need to sign a contract, to move forward with a job I’m training for. The
contract was sent to me by Google Drive. I can read the contents of the file
just fine, but it’s a PDF, and I need to sign and date it, as well as check
several “Yes, I agree,” check boxes. I’ve downloaded programs like “SmallPDF,”
and other that claim to hel me do this, but I can’t get any of them to work
with VoiceOver. Some of them want me to draw on the screen to produce my
signature.
Has anyone hit upon a strategy for dealing with this? I noticed just now that
Mac OS Monterey appears to somehow address this, so that’s my project for
tomorrow—an upgrade and investigating how to mark up a PDF to allow signature
adding. But, right ow, I’m in search of any solution at all that will let me
keep this job.
