Sent from Outlookif you go into settings, then go to mail and choose the email
account and then you can set by latest one first.

Hello,
You complain about a junk filter, though. I can't even change the order, in
which messages are sorted in IOS.

This is not Gmail. Yes that would make since on Gmail as it would be smart
enough to realize it was junk. But also I can go up to Gmail site and mark
it as spam there. But this account is a not a Gmail. Account. It is an email
account from my telephone company and who I get my internet service thru.
The problem is that their site for their email is not accessible at all so
cannot mark it as spam from there. The moving to junk on the phone is
useless. As they ever who they are using for their email is not smart enough
to know you are marking it as junk by moving it to the junk folder. I do
have a filter in outlook for it but that only works for outlook and if I am
not at the computer using outlook then it don't work. So back to what I was
saying they don't have a way to really mark something as spam or junk or
block that sender and so on. They are relying on like Gmail to be smart
enough to realize you marked it junk. This is not a good solution. The good
solution is to mar
k
it as spam or junk or be able to block this sender . It would be just a
matter of putting a filter capability in the mail app. But it is what it is.
Maybe one day they will come around. They are getting better and better each
year. Especially since cook has been in charge and has been willing to do
things I think if Steve was still here we would not have right now. Thanks
for the vent and JMO!

Not for me. Once I move it to gmail's junk, it flags it as spam server side
and I don't get the messages anymore.

Take care.

I know this but this is not a junk filter! All you are doing is moving a
message to a junk folder which is only a folder name junk! No filtering or
blocking at all. You will get the same junk message over and over and having
to do the same over and over! So no this is not a solution!

Hi, Apple really needs to make a way to mark messages as junk or spam! I
know you can manually move a message to the junk mail folder. But this
really is not a help. They need to have a way to mark the message or sender
or whatever as spam or junk or block them. I don't guess there is some kind
of app that would integrate with the mail app on IOS devices to be able to
do this ?
