this happens sometimes and just do a v o command i.e. option control shift d and it puts focus to the desktop From: mac4theblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mac4theblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Hilbert Poehlman Sent: Thursday, June 28, 2012 06:10 To: mac4theblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mac4theblind] mac boots in no man's land: All, I'm using a macbook pro 17 inch early 2008 with lion up-to date. When I boot the computer, unless I command-tab first, it is in no man's land where the window chooser reports no windows. It's not really an issue but it is a bit annoying not to know when boot has finished except for the quiet sound of the drive going away. Any help would be appreciated.
