[mac4theblind] iBooks and getting your private collection on devices?

So, before iBooks became available on the mac, we could go through iTunes to
sink books of our choice to our iDevice, even ones that weren't purchased in
the iBook store that was imported from a private collection. Now, it moved
your books to iBooks, but how do you get them to appear on your iDevice? I
have no clue how to do it. I have checked the option to sink content across
devices, but my private collection does not show up on my phone or iPad,
just the mac where they were moved to iBooks. Any ideas?
